The region around Casa La Nuez is a true hiking paradise. Recreative hikers as well as the more sportive ones will certainly find what they are looking for. Starting from our B&B there runs a trail through the olive groves that passes through Sileras, the village nearby, and ends again at our front door. Or the route which takes you to Almedinilla passing Polleo. Tapas will be your treat. Or what to think about the “Salto De Caballo” which leaves near the Roman museum and ends at a waterfall?
But the real paradise is the Subbetica park. One trail leads to the top of the highest mountain in the park and starts in nearby Priego De Córdoba. There is another running from Carcabuey over mountain slopes through nature. These are just some examples.
And lets not forget our special hiking arrangement. One of the most beautiful trails starts in Cabra and takes you via a mountain gorge to Zuheros. If you want we take you with your car to the finish and then bring you to the starting point. You simply walk back to your car. All information will be given during your stay.
The best periods for hiking are from February until the end of May and from half September to the half of November.
